Gratitude and Zeal
As Christmas and New Year’s approach, I find myself reflecting on the past year and counting my blessings. I’m deeply grateful for the start of Barnaba Ministry, and I’m praying for even more growth in the year ahead. The more I invest in ministry for Turkey, the more I realize two things: my understanding of Turkey’s deep needs grows, and so does my appreciation for what God has already done. At the same time, I’m overwhelmed by the need in Turkey, and this fuels my zeal to pray, advocate, and minister on behalf of the Turkish church.
Currently, I’m between trips to Turkey, which has given me an opportunity to connect with people here in the U.S. I’m eagerly awaiting responses from churches I’ve invited to partner with me. Please join me in prayer that God would guide them and that they would respond positively. As I’ve been sharing my vision with churches, I’ve come to realize that I’ve gotten ahead of myself in how I’ve been communicating.
While my ultimate goal for Barnaba Ministry is to connect U.S. churches with churches in Turkey, I’ve found that I still need to raise the necessary financial support to fund my own ministry. Once I have reached my personal support goal, I’ll be better positioned to advocate for partnerships between churches in the U.S. and Turkey. Trying to pursue both at the same time has been counterproductive, and I want to focus on getting fully funded first.
With that in mind, would you consider helping me become fully funded? My goal is $11,000 per month. I’m currently at $7,000, so I need $4,000 more each month to reach my target.
