Pray for Easter

For those of you who prayed for me during my trip, thank you so much. It was a blessed time.

The need for “workers for the harvest” is greater than ever in Turkey. Many of the churches are experiencing changes in leadership for good and disappointing reasons. Please pray for faithful humble leaders who will lead their congregations to rely on Jesus as their Shepard.

This coming Sunday, Easter, there will be churches filled with visitors in Turkey. Pray for church members to serve the visitors with love and share the gospel with passion. May God prepare the hearts of the visitors and may they come to saving faith in Christ. May Jesus be the answer of hope that people are searching for in Turkey.

I was challenged during this last trip to make prayer my number one strategy in my ministry. There are so many needs within Turkey I need God’s guidance to know where I need to serve. There are many different ways to raise awareness, support and prayer for ministry to “the ends of the earth,” and I need God’s clear direction to know where to focus my efforts. I can only receive God’s direction and guidance through prayer. Please pray that I would grow in steadfastness as I rely on prayer for Barnaba Ministry.

In less than two weeks I will head for Turkey again. This next trip is an Ironwood Church trip. We will visit Ironwood’s partners in Moldova and Turkey. Please pray for God to use me to facilitate relationship growth between Turks and our team. May God give us from Ironwood to see what He wants us to see and use us to be a blessing and be blessed. Please pray for travel mercy and health as well.

Thank you again for your prayers and support.

Mark
