Part of my ministry is bearing the burdens of our partners in Turkey. A few weeks ago I was carrying a lot and when I started talking with Suat, a Turkish pastor. He noticed a weight in my voice. He asked me what was going on and I shared that my heart was heavy. Our call was supposed to be me encouraging and listening to him but Suat started ministering to me. He told me to cancel my work for the day and to spend time in prayer and worship with God. It was hard to accept his care for me but I did what he said and I had a refreshing time of laying everything I was caring in Christ’s hands. I am honored to have Suat as a friend. Praise God together with me for Suat.

The weight I have been carrying is for Hakan who is in Moldova. Hakan is a Turkish pastor who’s wife was kicked out of Turkey so they have been living in Moldova for the past 3 years. There have been so many difficulties for Hakan and his family. They are in need of more support because of medical costs and the rising cost of rent. Hakan has tumors and nodules in his thyroid and is in need of surgery. Life is a struggle since they don’t speak Romanian, the main language spoken in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. Please pray for Hakan and his family. Despite their struggles they continue to engage with Turks who are living in Chisinau, helping them and sharing the gospel.

Please continue to pray for Barnaba Ministry. Pray for partnerships with churches and opportunities to advocate for the Turkish church. Please pray for wisdom for me as I navigate how to most effectively communicate. Please continue to pray for financial support.
